Edward - this may not be his final name, but it's the name we have given for the sake of this post. We were contacted by Animal Control about this small GSD/possibly Australian Shepherd mix, who had been chained out. AC removed him from the home where he had been chained out for years, and asked for our help - Edward had an immediate medical need which has now been addressed through
surgery. Animal Control depicted him as the sweetest dog we would ever meet, and our director and the staff at the vet's office can confirm this - he is exceptional. He needs a foster home. He is good with dogs, children and adults. He is probably good with cats, although we have not tried him
He has an incision in his side that is very long, and between 30 and 50 staples, but he is certainly able to go to foster care. Edward is also an easy keeper, but is post-surgical. Also - foster him
at your own risk. He is very special!
